Our association, “Flowarts Saar,” organizes the nonprofit event “Firefly Convention.” It will take place for the second time in 2027, from September 3, 2027, to September 5, 2027!
It will be held in a peaceful wooded area in the Saarland (a 10-minute drive from “Bostalsee”). At its core, it will be a Flowarts event featuring fire play, juggling, dance, and everything that goes with it. However, it is very important to us to expand our offerings and also provide an experience for everyone who simply enjoys movement, creativity, nature, and community—even without a direct connection to fire.

Here’s what you can expect:
- Fire Space
- Talented DJs
- Several chill-out and workshop areas
- Campfire site with barbecue facilities
- In addition to flow arts workshops and a fire space, we also offer a range of activities for non-fire performers (a wide range of activities from yoga to ecstatic dance
- Workshops led by and for participants will be a key part of the event (feel free to contact us if you’d like to lead a workshop yourself)
- Vegan breakfast and lunch will be provided for your physical well-being
- A small selection of drinks
- For overnight stays, you can either bring a tent or your camper van, or book a place to sleep in the permanent shared accommodation. A building with sufficient showers and toilets is also available.
