Our association “Flowarts Saar” organizes the nonprofit event “Firefly Convention”. It takes place from 10.07.26 – 12.07.26 on a quiet forest area in Saarland (a 10-minute drive to Bostalsee). At heart, it will be a flowarts event with fire play, juggling, dancing, and everything that goes with it (like the SchöFeuFe (Schönes Feuer Fest = Beautiful Fire Festival), which took place in 2024). However, it is very important to us to expand our offerings and also to offer an experience for all those who fundamentally desire movement, creativity, nature and community, without the direct connection to fire.

Here’s what you can expect:
- Fire Space
- Talented DJs
- Several chill-out and workshop areas
- Campfire site with barbecue facilities
- In addition to flow arts workshops and a fire space, we also offer a range of activities for non-fire performers (a wide range of activities from yoga to ecstatic dance
- Workshops by and for participants will be an integral part of the event (feel free to contact us if you would like to give a workshop yourself)
- Vegan breakfast and lunch will be provided for your physical well-being
- A small selection of drinks
- For overnight stays, you can either bring a tent or your camper van, or book a place to sleep in the permanent shared accommodation. A building with sufficient showers and toilets is also available.
